LadyLike showcases are intentionally curated, community-centered events designed to uplift women in the creative arts through connection, professionalism, and shared support.

What to expect
THE EXPERIENCE
LadyLike showcases are welcoming, organized, and artist-forward.
Our goal is to create an environment where performers feel supported on stage and connected off stage.
Artists can expect:
A respectful, professional showcase environment
A collaborative, songwriter-round format
A supportive audience made up of fellow artists, creatives, and community members
Visibility through LadyLike platforms, including social media and newsletters
EVENT FLOW & LOGISTICS
Typical showcase timing:
Load-in: 6:30 PM
Brief soundcheck: before each round
Showtime: 7:00–10:00 PM
Artists are expected to remain for the duration of the event to support fellow performers and strengthen community connection. If this is not possible, please notify the host in advance.
PROMOTION & PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS
LadyLike is built on mutual support. Artists are asked to actively participate in promotion and community engagement.
This includes:
Sharing LadyLike event posts on personal social media accounts
Inviting your audience to attend and engage
Tagging LadyLike in photos and videos
Using event hashtags (provided per showcase)
LadyLike will:
Capture photos and video during your set
Share edited content within 24 hours of the event
Feature your bio and images in the monthly LadyLike newsletter and archives
PROMO MATERIALS (REQUESTED AFTER ACCEPTANCE)
Accepted artists will be asked to submit:
Two images (headshot + candid or performance photo)
Two short vertical videos (30–60 seconds each)
Showcase invite video
“What LadyLike means to me” reflection
Guidelines and upload links will be provided via email.
PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
By registering and submitting materials, artists acknowledge:
Availability for the scheduled showcase window
Permission for LadyLike to use name, likeness, images, and short video/audio clips for promotional purposes
Understanding that LadyLike events are community-based and part of a broader artist development network
Agreement to participate in alignment with LadyLike values and expectations
